Server SMS-1000for quick SMS sent via GSM and CDMA mobile networks
The SMS-1000 is a network SMS server. It allows for simple and quick SMS sent from any PC operating within the LAN network. The SMS-1000 server can be directly plugged into the computer network LAN and is equipped with an in-built GSM/GPRS/EDGE transmission modem. It is also available on request with the modem provided for the CDMA mobile network. Configuration of the SMS-1000 server enables to follow it in the LAN/WAN network through a sub-domain or IP address. For instance, if your company uses „company.com” domain name, the SMS-1000 may be visible in the network as „sms.company.com”. Then, each user may send SMS from any E-MAIL client (including Microsoft Outlook 2007) giving the required mobile number in the form of an email address as syntax below:

Messages may be written in HTML as well as in TEXT formats. The SMS-1000 performs some editing functions to server messages such as converting, cutting surplus of text and limiting number of SMS to be sent (various configurations available). Additional attachments (files, graphics, and executable software etc) are not recognized and removed automatically out of the message. The product is accompanied with the HTTPS client for Microsoft Windows family systems, which enables sending direct SMS without using E-MAIL clients. The SMS-1000 server cooperates with the WAB (Windows Address Book) and may download data from Microsoft Access databases. The SMS-1000 server is perfect in locations requiring simple SMS communications between the company and the customers or it’s employees. The server allows for defining of individual users as well as whole groups of users. It operates as a GSM gateway and features old times calling PAGER systems. The SMS-1000 enables to define basic text alerts, which may be transmitted via SMS to selected, previously determined target groups, just with one-button move. For instance, if your manager wants to convene an urgent meeting of the sales department, you need barely one button on PC keyboard and the invitation SMS will be delivered to all the required staff immediately. The SMS-1000 also means a convenient tool for marketing and advertising aimed directly at mobile phones. The SMS-1000 may also support work of IT administrators operating as an automatic system alerting on failures and troubles. The SMS-1000 has been fitted with various additional features and facilities, for example, the system automatically checking for connection IP ping with selected telecom devices.
