| Time
Server NTP provides exact time directly to the LAN (WAN).
It can simultaneously synchronize the time of all servers, workstations and
CISCO routers operating in TCP/IP networks under the
NTP (Network Time Protocol). The time source is the
GPS (satellite signal),
DCF77 (radio long waves) or the
rubidium (cesium) resonators. The devices work with most of the popular operating systems including Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2K/XP and all Unix-based systems.
All timeservers NTP are STRATUM 1. All internal NTP
timserver time sources (GPS, DCF77, rubidium, cesium) are STRATUM
0. |

 |
GPS and DCF77 Radio Clocks provide the exact time via the RS232 interface to the PC. They are used in the absence of LAN or whenever the use of NTP is impossible or unjustified.
GPS and DCF77 Radio Clocks
(connected to PC operating under NTP timeserver software) are
STRATUM 0.
