Stanford Rubidium and cesium resonators (atomic clocks) provide super exact (nS-pS) time by very special PPS signal. This PPS (Pulse Per Second) signal is very stable in a long periode of time (years). It's also guarantie extreamly low jitter. This signal is locked by special time discipline equipment based on Phased Locked Loop and Frequency Locked Loop (PLL/FLL) technology.
